Kitchen and Bath Design I offer full kitchen and bath design services. I specialize in real-world designs for people who use their kitchens. I will come to your home, and help you design the kitchen or bathroom of your dreams--not my idea of your dreams. I also design home offices, media centers, wet-bars and home theaters. Click here for pricing information Along with over 25 years experience designing, building, finishing and installing cabinets in kitchens, baths and other rooms throughout Southern California, I am continuously expanding my knowledge about the kitchen and bath industry. I recently joined the National Kitchen and Bath Association, and I am currently taking advantage of their educational programs. I read trade journals and magazines and visit supplier's and distributor's websites and showrooms to keep track of recent (and future) trends in cabinets, hardware, appliances, lighting, flooring, counter tops, etc. If you have been thinking about using an interior decorator to design your kitchen, bath, home office or media room, or even if you have one you have used in the past, you may wish to reconsider. Most decorators lack the training and experience necessary to fully realize the potential in your new kitchen or bath. This is not meant to be a knock on decorators. There is simply a tremendous amount of detail involved in a kitchen or bath design in order for them to function correctly--both aesthetically and technically. In this regard, there is no substitute for experience. I have worked with many decorators over the years. Most of them are very good at achieving an overall look, but more often than not, it would be up to me to fix their "conceptual" drawings in order for everything to function together correctly. I would be happy to work with your decorator in selecting colors, materials and textures. If you're just looking to update your existing kitchen or bath, we can design your cabinets, using custom or modular, to fit your lifestyle, and suggest appliances, colors, materials and textures to compliment your home. We will then refer you to reputable contractors to do the work individually, or to a general contractor if you would like someone to oversee and coordinate the entire project. If you want to expand your kitchen, or add square footage, we can do that too! From design to permits to completion, we can help you every step of the way! We will offer as much (or as little) help as you desire in selecting: Cabinets, Appliances, Sinks, Hardware, Floor coverings, Counter tops, Wall treatments, Lighting, Furniture and more... |
